K-pop part 1

So there have been a lot of comeback and rookie groups coming out in these couple of two or three months, so I thought about: "Hey! Why not do a blog post about it" :D I know some of these may be old news but these are the ones that caught my attention. I'm going to tell about these issues in two parts, the fist one about the new "rookie" bands then the second one is about the good old ones who made their comeback for this year.

1.
The first one is NU'EST who made their debut in March is described as a urban electro band. And the thing about this band for me was that they all are super young Ren, JR, Baekho and Minhyun were born in 1995 (age 16) as for Aron he's the oldest one and born in 1993 (age 18). And the age was the problem for many fans because most of them are older so they are called pedo-noonas. The boys have also been seen in After school blue's - Wonder boy, Uee's solo debut - Soksoksok and in Orange caramels - Bangkok city. They have also made a few other appearances with stars such as Son Dambi. They boys are getting a lot o attention and I think they will be a very successful group after a few more songs. :)

2.
BtoB (Born to Beat) is one of my absolute favorite bands at the time. I actually started crying the first time I saw their debut Insane, which is really weird since I don't do crying. But I guess the song just moved me (or the boys were too cute?)... BtoB have also released another of their songs called Father which is also a ballad type of a song but I think ballads are the thing for this rookie group. ;)

3.
My third rookie is the incredible EXO as you may or may not know, EXO is the most advertised rookie group from SM Entertainment. They had only 23 teasers before debuting, but it wasn't a bad thing. EXO is divided in two parts EXO-K (which means EXO- Korean) and EXO-M (meaning EXO- Mandarin) it's not even that their divided it just means mostly that they perform the songs in Korean and in Mandarin. My ultimate favorite song comes from them MAMA. It's a bit odd song that resembles just a little bit the king of rock Queen. Other of their songs like History and What is love are also very cool songs. EXO is also known for their dancing and in my opinion EXO is the best dance group in the market right now.

4.
From the boy bands to a girl band! EXID debuted early this year even though they haven't had much attention yet I still think they are doing a good job. The only problem about this group is that it's a little small at the time. There are only 3 members left because of 2 of them leaving back for school and 1 more because she wants to become an actress. But the AB Entertainment has informed that the group will be turning back into a five-member group and release some new material in June, and I can't wait for it, since Whoz that girl is such a nice upbeat song!

5.
B.A.P is also a new group, but this group stand out because of it's style. Crumping and their over-all image is tougher and different compared to the most of the boy groups. The group also had a reality-TV show about them which is unusual for rookie groups it's called Ta-dah, It's B.A.P! The songs Warrior and Power are really dynamic and bold, but I think these boys are the bom-digidi ;)

6.
Ailee really reminds me of IU with her sweetness and cuteness. She is also a cuddly person even though her voice is much stronger than IU's. Her deput song Heaven is a mix of softness and intensive feelings but it really got to me. After listening to the first 20 seconds I was already downloading the song :D Ailee is also singin a OST for Dream High 2 called Superstar. Ailee has been featuring other singers like Mighty mouth but her featuring with Wheesung in They are coming is just something else hearing her rap shows that she really is a talented singer.

7.
TTS is a small group from SNSD so I'm not sure where to put it since it's a group of and old iconic group but it hasn't been in this form before. But anyhow... Their song Twinkle Twinkle reminds me of Cristina Aguilera, I don't know is it the song or the way their singing it but it just does. With all the sparkle the girls look beautiful and the song is really catchy! ^-^

8.
New group named WE was originally called MOGEF, I don't know why they changed their name because after they changed it I lost the group for some time. I only had the old name and the song their debut song's name Rain which was also changed to Rainy Days, so you could say that I was lost until I found them again! The special thing about this group is that it is a mixed group which are rare in the K-pop business, since there was Co-Ed School (for only promotional reasons but I still love them) and F1RST. But WE is a nice group since there aren't so many members in it.

9.
One of my rookie favorite girl group is New.F.O even if they already debuted in November I still think they are a rookie band because of the lack of songs. But I adore their futuristic image! The funny thing is that that the groups member Mima (the blond one) resembles so much F(x)'s Amber even when she's nothing like her. :) And the dance to the song is niceeee!

10.
Last but not least I have decided to add another November debuted, Agia. In my mind Agia is this cool kind of a cold person but she has a nice concept for her image and she reminds me of Kahi which is a good thing for me since I adore her! Even if Agia is a bit of an "never heard"- singer I still fancy her and want to hear more of her. :)

11.
I almost forgot about Hello Venus! Hello Venus is just the cutest group ever! I love their colorfulness and the clothes! They just gloom with positive attitude and it makes me happy :) I haven't gotten to know them better yet but I think I'll become a fan in a short while ^_^

I really tried to remember all the new groups but I think that's about it for the rookies that I can come up with right now, if I missed some group that you like please tell me and I'll post it here as an extra ;) hopefully this was useful, keep on checking for more updates! And please tell me your opinion on the newbies!

Long time no see...

So I know.. I broke my promise about updating every other week :D but I'm back and I'm actually going to be posting 3 blog today! So this first one is just about the clothing mostly and it's going to be really short because I lost my camera so I can't take my own pictures for the "how to pack"- section but I found a great video and that should cover it up! At least I hope so :D
So the video I'm posting here is from chrisellelim and I just adore all her DIY videos. I love her because she keeps everything in her videos so simple and yet super practical. In this video are the basics, but there a bit more work chic than my wardrobe was. Also I didn't use any heels in this trip, since in Rome there are those lovely historical sidewalks which don't love heels like I do. :D Anyhow still this video is perfect for a spring trip travel packing example.
I hope you'll find the advice from chriselle as useful as I did!:) Enjoy.

Busy busy busy!

Sorry people!
I've been in such a hurry these past few days that I didn't get a chance to take photos for you about "how to pack?" :D But I've been in Rome now for three days and it has been so much fun!! As you may or may not know (I don't remember if I already mentioned it) I'm staying in a host family and the people have been so nice and caring for me and I really really really appreciate it.
We've been in so many places like Colosseum, Campidoglio and etc. I've been in many of these place before but it's always nice to return in places where you haven't been for a long time. And Rome. Oh, Rome! It has been absolutely fantastic! The food, the clothes, the views! I've bought so much clothes! I'm almost bank robed! :D I'll send in pictures from the city and the new clothes as soon as I get back to Finland.
A little about the family. I speak with them mostly English even though I know quite much Italian. The girl hosting me is so kind and really beautiful, she's always asking if I'm alright and everything. She lives with her mum, dad and older sister, they are really nice too. The mum and the sister talk really much, but the dad is a man of few words. They all are really good cooks and I'm getting fat real quick!
I've been eating like there's no tomorrow! I'm so full and these people keep feeding me so much food! I'm not complaining or anything, it's not like they're stuffing food in my mouth. But when I see the food I can't stop... Well maybe I'm exaggerating, I can since there's no space in my stomach anymore. :D
All the other students are also really nice and exited but there are a bit complexes since the Italian and Finnish teachers give mixing institutions. But other than that we all get along pretty well I could say. Well I'm speaking for myself here. :D
I'll try to post another blog while I'm in here, when it's all in the fresh memory but let's see if I've got the time for it.

A little bit more...

So, I'm leaving for Italy this friday! Only three day left!! I'm super-exited since we're gonna live in host familys and we're gonna stay there for 10 whole days (me and 19 other students form our school)!
I've been looking forward to this trip for 3 months now and we're finaly close, soooo today I went shopping for presents to bring to the family. Since italian people (I'm talkin in general right now) have a thing for Finnish design, I decided to buy some "famous" Finnish labels. I bought stuff form Marimekko, Iittala, Fazer and Lumene
I'm just gonna tell some small stuff about these labels if you guys haven't gotten to know them before, if you DO know the labels you can just skip this part. So basically Marimekko is a fashion label it makes everything from plates to dresses, its main patters are stripes and these HUGE flowers (which look a bit creepish to my eyes) but still people buy them f.ex Sarah Jessica Parker has worn Marimekko for many occasions.
Iittala is known for the glass design, Iittala does like vases, glasses, plates and other decorating pieces. Iittala is also known for the shaping of the glass, they have these pearly pattern and vases that look a bit like amoebas.
Next is Fazer, the pride of Finland! It's the best chocolate you can find from the whole wide world! If your in Finland or you friends or relatives are coming to Finland an absolute MUST EAT is Fazer Blue. It's also the best souvenir you can buy, but I'll say... It won't last long.
And the last one is Lumene. It's a Finnish cosmetics brand, it based on something natural. Or so they say. But anyways you can buy from Lumene all the cosmetics and facial creams, scrubs and stuff like that and it has two lines. The actual Lumene and Lumene Natural Code. The Natural Code is ment for the "younger people" they are less expensive and colorful and... Just younger in some ways. :D I'll post some photos of the brands, if I can find photos.
Tomorrow I'll start pacing, and I'm gonna also go through my clothes and check if there's anything I can give away or donate. :) I usually donate the clothes I don't use anymore, I think it's the best way since your not throwing stuff in to the garbage and it's a type of recycling, even though I don't usually recycle anything. But I only donate them if there in good shape, cause it's really hard for the people in the business to get decent stuff, since people throw to the donation stuff that isn't usable. OK, now I'm lecturing. :D
I think I'm gonna post tomorrow or the day after that some photos of what you should take with you for a about two week length vacation with you. I'll just put together some outfits with just a few clothing, so that you can see that you don't really need that much stuff with you. But I'll talk about it in the next post. :)
I hope you'll start following my blog, and some comment would always be nice! Have a great day people! :)

The First One

So this is my very first blog! And I think I'm gonna start with just a few subject such as fashion, music and a bit about traveling. I'll maybe start adding some subject after some time but I'll just try to take it easy at first.  So first I'm gonna tell you a little bit 'bout myself.

One could say that I'm very lively and "on the walls" since I have a bit energetic  character. I'm always smiling and usually in a good mood even when in exhausted!

I live in Finland, in the Scandinavians and we have snow on the ground about a half of the whole year so the clothing style involves a  bit more long sleeves and layers from example L.A. My own style is a bit "undefined" I don't have an exact style that I live with, my clothes change by my mood. I'll post some pictures in the end so you can see some outfits.

Then to my music taste. I listen to a lot of different artist but I think I listen the most Korean-pop. Some of my favorites are f.ex. Super Junior, SHINee, Block B, f(x), IU, T-ara, B2ST, Agia, Neon Bunny, BIG BANG, BoA, 2NE1, SE7EN and a whole lot of others! but these where the first ones from the top of my mind. Then I listen to music that comes from the states and U.K even a bit of italian rap, but finnish music isn't for me the most of the time.

Then we're getting to traveling. As a girl for my age I think I have traveled a lot. I've been to places  such as London, Berlin, Bryssel, Lissabon, Petersburg, Ankara, Gibraltar, Estonia, Sweden and to some others. I've lived in Italy and Spain for a while in my childhood. So I think I know a little about traveling or so :D
And actually next weeks friday I'm leaving for Rome with my school, which will be awsome! there are 19 students going with me and we're gonna stay with italian familys. I don't think there will be a problem for me since I live in a half italian family myself. Then next year I may be leaving for China with our school, will see it's not sure yet. :D

So I think that's about it for this session, I'll try to post a new blog at least every other week or more often. :)
